ABOUT US

A Road To Ivy was founded and is operated by real teachers to help all students excell in school. We have been educators for many years in the NJ School System. Our experience in school as teachers as well professional tutors has led us to create a full service learning center that addresses the shortage of good tutors to help our students succeed.

Our philosophy centers around the needs of the individual student. Unlike large chains A Road To Ivy is run by educators. As experienced educators we have the ability and the knowledge to tailor our programs to enable your child to experience their full potential.

The Learning Center was originally founded by two high school teachers. One of whom is a certified teacher K-12. She has a Masters Degree from Columbia University in Operations Research - Industrial Engineering. The other is a certified teacher specializing in Mathematics. Our current Director has a language arts background with a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Rutgers University. In addition, A Road To Ivy is fully staffed by certified teachers who are paired with students according to their area of specialization.
